Additional Support for Newborn amid Covid19!

Worrying about the uncertainty of future or worrying about having a tough time coping before your newborn is born, fret not!

A one-off form of additional support for newborns will be introduced to help parents with their expenses amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, said Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat on Monday (5 October).

This will come on top of the existing Baby Bonus Cash Gift, which provides eligible parents up to $10,000 in benefits, he said while delivering a Ministerial Statement in Parliament.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Indranee Rajah, who looks after population matters, will share more details on this soon, he added.
